Tangier as a Crossroads of Possibility
This year, I had the opportunity to attend the Polyopportunity Festival in Tangier – and it left a lasting impression. Few places embody transformation and intersectionality quite like this Moroccan port city, where continents meet and ideas collide.
The festival brought together a truly international community of thinkers, entrepreneurs, artists and policymakers – all committed to exploring the opportunities within complexity. From conversations around post-growth futures and systemic design to experiments in decentralised collaboration and inclusive tech, the agenda was as diverse as it was urgent.

What struck me most was the tone: not utopian, not cynical – but bold, constructive and deeply human. It’s rare to find a space where economic, ecological and cultural transitions are discussed not in silos, but as interconnected dynamics. Tangier offered that space.

Polyopportunity reminded me why dialogue across systems and sectors matters – especially when grounded in local realities and global courage.
My sincere thanks to the organisers of the Polyopportunity Festival, The House of Beautiful Business, Till Grusche & Tim Leberecht & team – for creating a format that so thoughtfully combined depth, purpose and truly global perspectives.
